Round Here: Art Journal Page

Hello and Happy Friday!

Today I have a new art journal page to share. Sorry, I didn't get a video of this one.

I need to start out by saying that I love the theme of this page because I love music and it makes up so much of my life. I love the details and the tapes and I really love the letter sticker title. But... I don't love the colours at all. And it makes me not like the finished page. At all.

I wasn't even going to share it, I dislike it that much, but I know that I won't necessarily like all of the pages I do, so I'll just have to learn to like it and live with it. ;)

I'm mainly sharing it for those of you who really want to try art journaling but feel overwhelmed and intimidated. I am by no means an expert, but I hope this will help you jump into this fun creative outlet head first and know that there will probably be times you make pages that just don't turn out like you hope. And that is totally okay!

I think it's great but you are so right! Let it go...it's about having fun creating! With that said! I just started art journaling and u think I wanted to incorporate too many techniques in my first layout that I just hated it. I was thinking if ripping it out, but you are right....we may not love every page and just keep going!

OMG!! This too FUN Stephanie!! =) I LOVE this idea even for a page on everyone in the Family to show all the different tastes of Music each one has!! I THINK beings its an ART Journal that its about EXPLORING and trying NEW Techniques and NEW Color Combos and just giving yourself the RIGHT to PLAY and have FUN and let go with NO EXPECTATIONS of it being a PERFECT Piece of Art Work!! So what if you don't like the end result you were able to create and have FUN and you learned a lot and probably created some NEW Ideas along the way!! I like it, and I LOVE the Ideas that seeing this has provided me with so I THANK YOU for sharing it!! I look forward to the Next one!! HAVE A FABULOUS WEEK!! =)
