Paper Doll Love!

Today I have a post that shares a newer paper obsession of mine - paper dolls! ;)
I LOVED paper dolls when I was a kid and would play with them for hours and never get bored. It was so much fun to dress them and change their outfits and accessories.

And now I can be obsessed with them as an adult, thanks to Julie Nutting who designs the most awesome mixed media doll stamps and dies for Prima Marketing! The stamp and die combos are my fav since you can really have fun changing up the dolls, but I really love the cling doll stamps too!

If you follow me on Instagram, you've probably seen most of these dolls already. ;)

I find it so relaxing and good for my creative soul to spend an evening or an afternoon just stamping all the different pieces and creating a new doll with a new outfit, new hairstyle, etc.. SO addicting and fun!

Adding accessories when you have the doll all done is one of the best parts. I love using gems and sequins and any little embellishments or stamps that would work with the dolls. And I have fallen in love again with my 6x6 patterned paper pads because they're the perfect size to create the clothes. There are so many designs to choose from - it's like going clothes shopping lol!!

You'll probably be seeing a lot more of these dolls from me. I am nowhere near bored with them yet and actually have plans for my next girl's outfit! I dare you to make one and not be tempted to make a whole group! lol! ;)

Thanks for stopping by today -
Be back soon!

Steph ;)
