Hello! Today I have a card to share that mixes both older Simon Says Stamp products with the new Holiday Frames die that just came out for the STAMPtember® release! It's so easy to forget about older product we have when new stuff is exciting and fun, so I like to take some time to see what newer stuff would work well with older stuff.
I love the polaroid looking frame in the holiday frames die set, but rather than put an actual image behind it, I decided to use the Furry Christmas stamp set that was released a couple of years ago. And I have to admit, I am totally in love with how it turned out lol!! ;)
I coloured the stamped image with Copic markers and then tucked it behind the diecut frame. For a little bit of fun, I let the dogs antlers and the dog and cats tails stick out from behind the frame. Almost makes it look like they're actually behind there! ;)
I added Sea Glass cardstock under the frame behind the animals to make them stand out from the frame and also make the diecut word Christmas stand out. I love how well it matches the Lawn Fawn patterned papers and the colours I used for the cat's scarf.
To complete the card, I added some glitter and glossy accents to the antlers, hat and noses and also stamped an additional sentiment on the diecut piece. I thought the From all of Us sentiment from the the From Us stamp set worked perfectly with this, so I cut it apart so I could stamp it in a line under the other words.
I layered some patterned paper and vellum in the background and then added the frame with foam adhesive for some added dimension. A diecut red heart covered with glitter and glossy accents completed the sentiment. ;)
