Introducing Moments Inked Memory Planner System

Hello! Today I have some fun news and some awesome new products to show you! I'm excited to share that I am part of the Papertrey Ink Moments Inked Design Team - a team dedicated to sharing an amazing new memory planner that is officially being revealed today! ;)
It's no secret that I am a complete planner nerd, so I was pretty excited to receive my planner (and the awesome stamp and die accessories) and start playing with it! It is such a unique planner that has a lot of really great features! So grab a drink and get comfy, because I have lot's to share! ;)

My first thought when I opened the box was how thick the planner is - this baby has a ton of pages! The reason for that is all of the amazing features that come in it, including daily pages. You'll see more about that below, but for now let's talk about the outside.

The planner is 5" x 7" in size which makes it great for bags or purses, or smaller open space on your desk. It is definitely thicker than any other planner I've seen, but I'm one of those people who thinks 'more is better', especially in my notebooks and planners. I will admit that getting used to the coil took the longest, but now I barely notice it. I like knowing that I have lot's of room for add-ons within my planner.

A fun feature of the planner is that it has laminated interchangeable covers which are beautiful! There are 3 available to choose from and they easily snap onto the coils and come off when you want to change them. I've already used all three on mine because I can't decide which one I like the best lol! ;)

The back of the planner is a super thick cardboard material and all of the tabs along the side are laminated for better durability. One thing I love about the tabs is that they are all visible at once rather than layered. It makes it super quick and easy to flip to the exact section you want.

Now let's take a look at some of the inside pages in the planner. All of the pages are made from 70lb. Crisp White Linen paper and it's amazing! It has a subtle texture and I've had no issues with either my pens or inks bleeding through, and I've used dark colours that I can't use in other planners. And I'll admit that I love the smell of the paper... another weird fact about me haha! ;)

At the beginning of each month, there is a page with a quote (each month is different) and a 2 page spread featuring the entire month. Following that are weekly pages like the photo above. These have each day of the week broken down into morning, afternoon and night as well as an area at the bottom for notes.

The Memory Planner System also has awesome stamps and dies that coordinate with the Moments Inked planner. You can see some of them in action on my planner pages in the photos! I used the new Planner Banners stamp set and coordinating die as well as the Blog Banners stamps and the Family Banners stamps. These are all sized perfectly to fit on the weekly spreads either on the diecut banners or directly on the pages themselves.

Now for my favourite part of this planner - the daily pages! These pages are amazing with lot's of little places to record events, memories and things that you want to track in your daily life. Each month has a different colour scheme and the colours are vibrant and beautiful!

There is a spot to keep track of water intake (I use a highlighter to colour in my water glasses throughout the day), a spot to write in your tasks and plans for the day, a spot to write in things that you're grateful for, memorable moments, daily indulgences, the meals that you ate and even fitness goals! Every day is a new place to write not only your schedule, but favourite quotes, memories and thoughts.

That's what I love about this planner... it's something just for me that I can keep once the year is over. It will be filled with favourite quotes and random everyday memories that I want to remember. I will continue to use my Erin Condren Life planner to track family activities, etc... because I want this one just for myself lol! ;)

Another fun feature in the planner is the lined pages and grid pages in the back for notes and sketches. It's a great place to keep card sketches as the ideas come to me. I draw them in pencil so I can make changes to them or erase them if I don't end up liking them. I like that I can keep them all in one place throughout the year.

Here is a side view of the planner so you can see all of the pages and how thick it is when it's closed. I love the rainbow of colour down the side! I also wanted to share this planner with my other planner and one of my notebooks. It really helps to see the size difference when deciding what planner would work for your everyday life. I'm just an addict and like to have lot's of planners lol! ;)

One more quick thing I wanted to share in today's post, is the fun new Posted stamp set that coordinates with the planner, to help keep you organized. These stamps fit standard 3" x 3" post-it notes that you stick throughout your planner whenever you need them.

The stamps include the header area and lines as well as different icons that you can use down the side (numbers, circles, squares, stars, hearts, etc...) so you can quickly jot down the things you need to do that day. And since they're removable post-it notes, you can move them around in your planner if needed.

So that's my initial overview of the new Moments Inked Memory Planner system from Papertrey Ink! There are so many things that I still can't wait to share with this planner and the awesome accessories that coordinate with it.

Make sure to head over to the Papertrey Ink blog for a full overview of all the new products from Nichole as well as links to the other team members blogs for their first impressions, thoughts and overviews! ;) All of the new products will officially be available on February 15th at Papertrey Ink!
