Round Here: MFT February Release Countdown

Hello and welcome to day 1 of the My Favorite Things February release! Today I have a yummy card to share that uses the new Donuts Die-namics and Donuts and Sprinkles stamp set. ;)

I love how fun it is to make donuts with these new dies and stamps! And you can use so many fun products to make them look so realistic and good enough to eat! ;)

To create the donuts on my card, I cut the base of them out of brown felt and then cut the icing part out of regular white cardstock. Once I had all of the icing pieces cut out, it was time to decorate them!

Starting with the top left donut, this is what I used to decorate them:

White embossing paste and blue and green seed beads
Pink ink (direct to paper), clear embossing powder and Stardust Stickles
Glass bead glitter gel and brown seed beads
Fruit Punch Stickles

I love how adding a few fun products to the top adds fun dimension and texture that you can't get from paper alone.

To create the actual card, I adhered all of the donuts (once they were completely dry) to a white cardstock panel and then stamped the sentiment directly underneath with black dye ink. Then I adhered the entire piece onto a brown notecard to match the donuts! ;)
