MFT September Creative Challenge | Gold Glitz

Hello and welcome to the My Favorite Things September Creative Challenge! This month is all about GOLD! Yep, we're using gold somewhere in our projects and I had so much fun creating a shiny, sparkly birthday present! ;)

I used the fun Birthday Present die-namics to create a present using the white and black polka dot patterned paper. Once I had the base and the lid of the present created I adhered them together and then I created the bow.

I used both glossy gold cardstock and glittery gold cardstock and cut out the pieces of the bow. I then mixed them together and adhered them to create a fun gold bow with lots of shine and sparkle!

I diecut a panel from white cardstock using the stitched rectangle from Blueprints 20 and then I adhered that on a black cardstock mat. I stamped the sentiment in black ink and adhered the present above it with foam adhesive.

I adhered the completed panel onto a white, top-folding card base to complete the card.

Make sure to head over to the MFT blog to see what the other design team members created for this month's creative challenge!
