Hello and welcome to the My Favorite Things new product launch!! All of the new products we've been sharing all week are officially available in the MFT store now! I can't wait to see what's on everyone's must have list! ;)
For the new product launch this month, I am featuring the new Bottlecap die-namics! They are so fun and realistic looking and they are a great way to add some great dimension to your card designs.
For my card I used the bottlecaps with the Soda Pop stamp set to create a fun and unique birthday greeting. I first stamped the centers to the bottlecaps (two green stars and one aqua 'happy birthday') and cut them out.
I then diecut the outside of the bottlecaps with silver glitter paper and adhered the stamped centers on top. I love how the glitter is a little unexpected and makes them sparkle! Super fun for a birthday themed card. ;)
I stamped the new Distressed Stripes background stamp onto a piece of white cardstock with Summer Splash ink and then adhered that to a white cardstock panel. I trimmed 1/4" off the side so some of the black card base would show when I adhered it all together.
I then stamped 'friend' onto a piece of Limelight cardstock and adhered it above the white stamped piece. I added a smaller strip of Summer Splash cardstock and then adhered the bottlecaps directly above with foam adhesive for some added dimension.
