MFT October Release | New Product Launch

Hello and welcome to the My Favorite Things new product launch!! All of the new products we've been sharing all week are officially available in the MFT store now! I can't wait to see what's on everyone's must have list! ;)

For the new product launch this month, I am featuring the new Pop-up Holiday Greetings Die-namics and the Basic Stitch Lines Die-namics - free this month when you spend $60 at the MFT store! ;)

To create my card I first ran my white cardstock panel through my diecutting machine with the Basic Stitch Lines die and then I diecut the Pop-up Holiday Greetings right above it. I love how the stitching detail grounds the words on the card front.

Once I had the diecutting done, I stamped one of the elves from the Santa's Elves stamp set in the open space around the words... he fit perfectly! ;)

I tucked a piece of paper under the pop up words and coloured them in with Copic markers. I started with a darker shade at the bottom and then I went lighter near the top to create an ombre effect. I coloured the elf in with Copic markers as well and added some clear glitter and glossy accents to him for some added detail and dimension.

I layered the finished panel onto a piece of silver glitter paper so you could see it under the words and then adhered the entire thing to a white top-folding card base. To bring a little more red into the card, I cut a bit off the edge of the panel and coloured the left side of my card base with the same red marker I used on the elf. ;)

Thanks so much for hanging out all week while we shared the newest products and projects! I can't wait to see what everyone creates with the new stamps, dies, stencils, patterned papers, cardstock and inks!! ;)
