MFT December Release Countdown | Day 2

Hello and welcome to day 2 of the My Favorite Things December release countdown. Today's card features the new Sweet Safari stamps and coordinating Die-namics as well as some fun new dies to create a safari scene!

To create my card I first stamped the safari animals onto some Smooth White cardstock and then I coloured them in with Copic markers and diecut them with the coordinating dies.

I used the new Grassy Hills and Scenic Safari die-namics to cut out some grass and a rock for my scene and then I adhere them on top of a stitched rectangle panel that I cut from blue chevron patterned paper. All of the papers I used for my scene are from the Calm and Cozy paper pad from MFT.

Once I had the base of my scene created, I diecut some leaves from various shades of the green chevron patterned paper using the new Leafy Green die-namics. I adhered them around the outside edges of my rectangle panel to try and make it look like the leaves were all hanging off of trees.

I then adhered the animals into the center area of the scene and stamped the sentiment with black ink onto the bottom grass area. It's a little busier than I usually do in my card designs but I think all the layers really add to the scene.

Thanks for stopping by for day 2 of the My Favorite Things December release countdown. All of the new products will officially be available in the MFT store at 10pm EST on Tuesday December 8th!
