MFT December Release Countdown | Day 4

Hello and welcome to day 4 of the My Favorite Things December release countdown. Today I have a few cards to share that use the new Distressed Patterns stamp set as well as the Mini Modern Blooms stamps and die-namics.

For my first card I used the Distressed Patterns stamp set and heat embossed it with sparkle silver embossing powder as a backdrop for my sentiment.

I diecut the new Stitched Numbers die-namics from Smooth White cardstock and then coloured them in with blue Copic markers to create an ombre effect. Once  I had them coloured, I adhered them directly to the embossed area with liquid adhesive... I just made sure to set something on top of them while they dried since it's an uneven, embossed surface they're being adhered to.

Once they were dry I stamped, cut out and adhered the 'happy' sentiment from the Label Maker Sentiments stamp set and then I also added some silver and blue sequins scattered around the design on the card front. To complete the card I adhered the finished panel to a Midnight Blue top-folding card base.

My second and third card are a sneak peek at the cards I created for this months monthly release class, which will be available on the MFT blog (in the resources section) on release day! Both cards feature the new Stitched Scallop STAX die-namics and the Mini Modern Blooms stamps and dies.

The free class will include a downloadable PDF sharing how I created both cards and there will also be a video sharing how they were created. ;)

Thanks for stopping by for day 4 of the My Favorite Things December release countdown. All of the new products will officially be available in the MFT store at 10pm EST on Tuesday December 8th!

Make sure to head over to the MFT blog for today's full product reveal, giveaways and links to lot's of amazing projects from the other MFT creative team designers! ;)

See you tomorrow for more countdown fun!
