MFT Color Challenge #46 & Mini Misti Winner!

Hello and welcome to the newest My Favorite Things color challenge. For this challenge we're going with soft, muted colours. I love how well these colours blend together but I have to admit... me and pastel type shades have a love hate relationship lol!! ;)

I decided to blend the colours onto a background that I heat embossed first with white embossing powder and the Garden Flourish background stamp - one of my favourite background stamps ever!!

I love the way the colours blended together to create the soft background. Once I had all of the inking done, I diecut the inked panel with a stitched rectangle die, added it to a thin white cardstock mat and then adhered it to a kraft card base.

I diecut the sentiment from kraft cardstock (this sentiment was part of the May card kit which is currently sold out, but the dies will be available for individual purchase with the July release) and adhered it to the background panel with liquid glue to make sure it adhered to the embossing.

I also added some leaves cut from Peach Bellini and Sno Cone cardstock to the background and completed the card with some clear sequins.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Make sure to check out the MFT challenge blog here to see more cards based on Color Challenge #46 and to take part!
