Hello and welcome to day one of the MFT Camp Create summer camp event! Every day this week we're going back to summer camp to hang out, be inspired and win prizes!! I am so excited to be a part of such a fun event and can't wait to share this week's projects with you! I hope you'll take part and share your creations on the MFT blog.
For the first day of camp we're having fun with glitter so I created a fun, camp inspired card with lot's of glitter! ;)
To create my card I used the Roughing It Die-namics dies to cut out all of the pieces for my scene. I added Elizabeth Crafts microfine glitter to the trees, the flaps on the tent and the fire to add some unexpected sparkle to the finished project. I love glitter on everything... even camping themed cards lol! ;)
I created a background with distress inks and then I adhered all of the pieces on top. The diecut pieces that weren't glittered were coloured with Copic markers. To complete the card I added a sentiment from the Warm & Fuzzy Friends stamp set and I added some hears floating up from the tent to go with the sentiment.
