MFT Make a Wish Card Kit Release!

Hello! I have another card to share that I created with the new My Favorite Things Make a Wish card kit! This bright and colourful birthday themed kit includes everything you need to make a ton of cards including a 4x8 stamp set with coordinating dies, a 6x6 patterned paper pad, 8 premium dye ink cubes, and 14 sheets of cardstock.

And the best part... everything is perfectly coordinated together so all you have to do is create! The kit is officially available now in the MFT online store.

For my card tonight I stamped and diecut three of the candles with grey and blue ink, added a flame stamped in yellow and finished the candles off with the heart in the center of the flame cut from silver glitter cardstock.

To create the bottom area of the card, I diecut the word 'hello' from the Hello Beautiful die set from white cardstock and I added some Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers distress ink with an ink blending tool over the entire piece.

I then spritzed on some water and dabbed it off with a paper towel to give it a bit of a distressed look. I stamped the sentiment into a white cardstock banner cut from a Stitched Fishtail Banner and I adhered it directly under the edge of the diecut piece.

I then tucked the candles under the cardstock panel and finished the card off by adding some clear sequins scattered around the candles. The finished piece was adhered to a Grout Gray card base.

Thanks so much for joining me for the new Make a Wish card kit reveal. Don't forget to head over to the MFT blog for all of the details on this fun new kit and to see more samples from the creative team!
