MFT September Release Countdown | Day 5

Hello and welcome to day 5 of the My Favorite Things September release countdown. For the next 5 days, we're counting down to the September release, sharing cards and ideas using the new products.

For my card today I'm using the new Geometric Greenery stamp set (and coordinating Die-namics) along with the the new Single Stitch Line Rectangle Frames Die-namics. I love the geometric detail on the leaves in this set and knew I wanted to add some fun colours to each one.

I diecut three of the smallest rectangle frames from Insulation Pink cardstock and Silver Sparkle cardstock and I adhered them onto my white carsdstock panel in a fun design. I really wanted to highlight each of the leaf designs and I think the frames do this perfectly! ;)

When I adhered the frames, I made sure to leave enough space to stamp the sentiment in the cluster of frames to ground it and I adhered all of the leaves tucked under the frame edges, from different angles.

I added the panel to a Grout Gray card base and added some detail to the right side with a strip of black and white striped paper and a thin strip of silver glitter cardstock to match the silver frame. I completed the card by adding some clear sequins inside the frames and added silver Stickles to all of the centers.

Thanks so much for joining me for day 5 of the September release countdown. All of the new products that we're sharing all week will officially be available in the MFT online store at 10pm EST on September 6, 2016.

Make sure to head over to the MFT blog for more ideas from the creative team and giveaways! ;)
