Hello and welcome to the countdown for the November card kit - Kitschy Kitchen. This kit is so original and fun and includes some great kitchen themed stamp sets (and dies), 8 ink cubes and 12 sheets of cardstock.
I love the fun images in the Kitschy Kitchen stamp set! They are mainly solid so they can be stamped with a variety ink colours to create different looks. For today's card, I used a few different ink colours on each stamp to create ombre and a multi coloured stamped look.
Once I had all of the images stamped, I cut them out with the coordinating dies. I also cut out the shelf and banana hanger from white cardstock and coloured them both in with Copic markers to make them look like wood.
I added some brick detail to the background with a stencil and Grout Gray ink and then I adhered all of the stamped and diecut images. I adhered the finished panel to a pink card base and I added some clear sequins for some added detail.
You can see how I created this card in this week's episode of MFTv. ;)
Make sure to head over to the MFT blog for all of the details on this months kit and to see some great cards created by the design team! ;)

ReplyDeleteYour subtle brick wall make this look even more retro. I lived through the 60s, so I really know! We didn't have banana hangers, though. This is very cute.
ReplyDeleteThis is super cute Stephanie. Love the stenciled brick background. A great kit!
