A Deasy Designs Farewell

Hey -

As most of you know, I have been the DT Coordinator for the last few months for a newer stamp company called Deasy Designs. Unfortunately, the illustrator of the stamps has decided to discontinue the clear stamps and focus only on her digital designs.

So today on the Deasy Designs blog, we posted a little farewell post with some cards made by the design team. We just wanted to be able to say thank you to everyone for supporting us.

I created a card using the Floral Fusion stamp set and the Say Anything stamp set. And I also used the colour purple as my dominant colour! Anyone that knows me, knows that me and purple do not mix when it comes to creating. So this is a big deal! Ha!

Deasy Designs Stamp Release Day

Hey everyone!

Happy Holidays

I decided to create a fun little scene with the little bear critter 'stuffed' inside the stocking. I then cut out a fireplace design with my Silhouette to prop the stocking against. I created the bricks on the fireplace with a grey copic marker. I also included the fire image from the stamp set. I coloured it with copic markers and added some sparkle with a glitter pen.

Deasy Designs 'Say Anything' Reveal

Hey everyone!

This weekend, Deasy Designs is revealing their two newest stamp sets! The set being revealed today is called Say Anything!

Another great new set with so many great sentiments! You can mix and match them or just use them as is... and I love the great fonts!

This is the card I created with this great new set.

I Miss You

For this card, I repeatedly stamped the sentiment in Hero Arts Ocean chalk ink and then stamped it once in Hero Arts Punch ink. The strips of colour at the bottom are Neenah Solar White Cardsock covered with the same two inks I used for the sentiment stamping.

This is such a fun set with so many possibilities!

Deasy Designs 'Happy Winter' Reveal

Hey everyone!

This weekend, Deasy Designs is revealing their two newest stamp sets! The set being revealed today is called Happy Winter!

I love this new set. The little critters are so cute and super fun to colour with Copic markers. And there are always so many great little additions to Deasy's stamp sets. I love the fire and marshmallow stick and the cup of cocoa is great too!

I decided to make snow hills and have the penguin and the husky sliding down them. I coloured them both with copics and added glossy accents to their noses. I also added stardust stickles along the edges of the snow hills to help define them more.

This is such a fun set with so many possibilities!

Deasy Designs 'Tis The Season' Reveal & Giveaway!!

Hey everyone!!

Today is the reveal of Deasy Designs newest stamp set - Tis' The Season 

Another great stamp set with fun cute designs for the holidays!!  The tree is great on its own, or it can be decorated with the little ornaments!!
And the reindeer is adorable on its own or pulling the little wagon stacked with presents!!
So many fun options with this set!!

For my project, I decided once again to create my own custom background -

I stamped two of the snowflakes all over the background and embossed them with white embossing powder. I then added tumbled glass distress ink all over the background. Love the look of the white embossed snowflakes against the aqua colour.
To complete the card I stamped the tree on some Jillibean Soup patterned paper twice, cut them out and layered then with foam adhesive on the card.
I wanted the sentiment to be stacked rather then side by side, so I cut it apart and arranged it how I wanted it.
