Today I have a fall themed card to share using some of the Kelly Purkey stamp sets from Simon Says Stamp. There are so many amazing KP stamp sets available but my favourites by far, are definitely the fall themed ones! There are so many great designs and images and they just make me happy!! ;)
For this card, I am doing a technique that I'm sure many have done before me, but I just discovered it and I have no idea what it's actually called lol!! So I'm going to call it 'see through shadow stamping' which is simply stamping with Hero Arts shadow ink and then stamping on top with more Hero Arts shadow ink. Once it dries, you can see the bottom stamp pattern showing through the top colour of shadow ink. I'm not 100% sure if this works with all colours, so just play around with it and see what happens! ;)

If you look at the tree, you can see the woodgrain pattern from the green circle, showing through the leaves and the top part of the tree. The woodgrain circle was stamped with Soft Green and the tree parts were stamped with Cup O' Joe, Just Rust, Pumpkin Pie and Butter Bar.
Such a cool effect!! I can't wait to try it out with some more stamps and different colours of Hero Arts shadow inks. ;)
