Right at Home Stamps | Spring Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my stop on the Right at Home Stamps spring release blog hop! I am so excited that Nicole asked me to take part in the hop... I love the amazing stamp sets she has designed so far and I can't wait to see what's to come!

For my card I used the new Let Love Grow stamp set and come of the new Flower Sequins to create a little flower planter. As soon as I saw the flower sequins and this stamp set, I knew I wanted to make flower with the sequins.

I started by first stamping the planter onto a white cardstock panel with two shades of MFT grey dye ink and then I stamped the stems so it looked like they were in the planter. I then arranged the various colours of flower sequins to look like flowers.

Once I had them how I wanted them, I used Matte Multi Medium to adhere them onto the card. I also added Silver Stickles to the flower centers and added a flower down beside the planter to make it look like it had fallen off. ;)

To complete the card, I added some shading under the planter with a few shades of Copic markers and then I stamped the sentiment beside it with black ink. I love this sentiment so much and thought it went prefectly with the flower planter.

Thanks so much for stopping by for my stop on the hop! I'm the last stop, so you can head back to the Right at Home blog from here.

  7. Gorgeous, Stephanie! Your pot of flowers is making me long for Spring. I spent the day trimming my violets and topping them off with dirt. Gardening is in my soul and this is such a nice set. Thanks, craftqueen417 at yahoo
