Make A Wish | SSS APril 2015 Card Kit

Hey everyone! Today I have another card to share that uses the April Simon Says Stamp card kit. For my last card I went really colourful and bold so I decided to mute this one down a bit and use the awesome kraft foil paper as the focal point on the card.

I used the Simon Says Stamp balloon dies to create the three balloons on the card. I diecut two of them directly from the white cardstock piece and the third from the foil paper. To create dimension, I layered the white diecut piece over the pink card base with foam adhesive and added a different pattern of the foil paper beneath each one.


I stamped the sentiment onto the white cardstock panel with Doll Pink ink and then stamped over top of it with Versamark and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I love the texture and shine the embossing powder adds.

I added strings for the balloons with a black pen and adhered the third balloon, slightly overlapping the largest balloon. I completed the card with sequins and stickles for some added detail. ;)

  1. OMG What a Fabulous and beautiful card. I just love the Kraft Cardstock with the black definitely one of my most favorite combinations. You really got super clever and creative with your dies and stamps along with your awesome idea for your glitter embossed word and then having it in pink sure make for one super beautiful card.
